Dalila is timeless, it’s before, now, forever. Like the moments you spend sitting around a table with family and friends.

When my grandma died, my grandpa planted a garden of Camellias trees. She loved flowers, the house was always full of them. She was such a loving, caring, joyful, and sassy woman. I remember the colorful flower arrangements, the taste of her sweet, soft, and hectic bread puddings. Just like herself.
So, when I thought of doing a home brand, that was one of the first things I had decided in my heart. I wanted her name because for me, she is home and how I want home to feel like.
Dalila launched in 2025, but the brand story begins a long time ago, in the north of Portugal, in a house full of flowers, female voices, laughter, and love.
Watching hands weave, knit, embroider, transforming old textiles, merging utilitarian with beauty in the most unpretentious and unique way.
Textiles were always there, as a secret language. So was family, so was nature. They were the original seeds.
It took a long time, or just the right one, for Dalila to quietly spring.
A career in fashion, a life away from that first home, and a constant search for more sustainable ways of doing, prepared the ground. Later, a year in Portugal, reconnecting with the almost forgotten crafts and artisan communities made the dream germinate.

Dalila reflects that journey through Portuguese textile archeologies and a deep admiration for the hands that weave, knit, and embroider as an act of expression. The desire to honor this rich cultural heritage, work with crafters, and do it sustainably and consciously is at the heart of what we do.
More than a beginning Dalila’s ambition is to offer a continuation of the story. One where tradition, craftsmanship, nature, sustainable materials, and ethical production merge to create objects that inspire homes and people around the table, where all the good memories start.
