Incomplete Linen Tablecloth

Crafted in Northern Portugal at the beginning of the 20th century, this monumental tablecloth was found carefully folded and unfinished in a bragal (hope chest), where it had been saved for a future home. Handwoven in fine linen, its surface reveals flowing floral motifs embroidered in ponto cheio (satin stitch) and delicate boliño (small padded stitch), though parts of the design remain incomplete.

Preserved in excellent, unused vintage condition, it offers a rare glimpse into the beauty of tradition, where heritage and imperfection meet.
